Christmas Celebration

Christmas waves a magic wand over the world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.

The entire family of DPS Barra came together to put up a Christmas Assembly On 22nd December in the Amphitheatre of the school.
Students presented an array of interesting programs. The event commenced with a prayer invoking the blessings of the Lord. It was followed by a series of presentations, like poetic expression and speeches. The students showcased the spirit of the festival through a mesmerising dance performance. The school echoed with Christmas carols and holy hymns sung melodiously by the school choir, ushering in the festive season. The children presented a delightful skit on the birth and life of Christ.
The surprise entry of Santa Claus carrying a bag of sweets and gifts filled all the students with joy and enthusiasm.
Principal of the school motivated the students to live their lives to the fullest. She inspired the gathering to focus on their goals and plan for them judiciously to taste success. She also told the children about sharing and caring, as well as the pleasure and pride of spreading peace, true to the spirit of the celebration.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, which all the students and teachers sang with honour and pride!

The message of the assembly was loud and clear: “Come, let us embrace the spirit of Christmas by bringing joy and happiness into someone’s life.”
