Republic Day Celebration

Republic Day is not just to commemorate the efforts of all those great souls but it also reminds us of our duties as the citizens of India, to hold our laws and our Constitution in high regard.
As the Nation looks forward to celebrating the 75th anniversary of the enforcement of it’s Constitution, a special assembly was organised by grade 9 students to mark this special day.
Students eloquently shared the significance of the day. Students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood through poem and song. An interactive quiz was also organised to test and educate the young minds with recent knowledge about the country. Various Fundamental Rights and Duties were displayed by the children in form of placards with the Articles of Indian Constitution. The music teachers engaged the audience in A Lyrical Melody and the School Choir performed on “Swarg se sunder desh hmara “.
The programme was brought to an end with an energetic and a fun filled “Flash Mob” Dance performance on patriotic songs that was lead by the teachers of the dance department.
